What is “The Spot” anyway?
The Name “The Spot” is an acronym:
Supernatural * Point * Of * Transformation
It was birthed out of a study of Luke 19:5
“When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must go to your house today.
“Jesus reached “the spot” and in this instants that spot was a tree that had been planted years before by God so that Zacchaeus could climb it and see Jesus. This was for Zacchaeus’ his spot of supernatural contact. That encounter changed Zacchaeus’ life forever. He was transformed from a selfish, dishonest business man into a giver and follower of Christ. |
